Educational and Professional Background

Lucille Bongiovanni earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University in 2005. She went on to attend Rutgers School of Law in Camden, New Jersey, earning her Juris Doctorate in 2010.

Ms. Bongiovanni is admitted to practice law in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She also practices in the United States District Courts for the District of New Jersey and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

National Lawyers Guild

While at the Rutgers School of Law, Lucille was Chair of the Outreach/Community Empowerment for the Rutgers Camden Chapter of the National Lawyers Guild (NLG). As chairman she played an important role in the establishment of the NLG Prison Project. The aim of this program is to help inmates at the Federal Detention Center in Philadelphia gain the skills they need to successfully re-enter society.

Marshall Brennan Fellow

Lucille was also a Marshall Brennan Fellow. The Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project was created to allow talented law students to teach constitutional law and juvenile justice to high-school students in the nation’s public schools.

Rutgers School of Law Pro Bono Award

Lucille was a member of the law school’s Juvenile Justice Clinic. Because of her work representing juvenile offenders in Superior Court and her other endeavors, Lucille was honored with a Rutgers School of Law Pro Bono Award.

Law Career

Before entering her Of Counsel relationship with Aretsky Law Group, P.C., Ms. Bongiovanni worked for litigation firms in Atlantic County and Camden County.

She began her Of Counsel relationship with the Aretsky Law Group, P.C., in 2015.
