Educational and Professional Background
Rita Gribko earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from LeMoyne College in 1991 (Honors: Magna Cum Laude, Departmental Honors). She went on to attend Rutgers University School of Law in Camden, New Jersey, earning her Juris Doctorate in 1994.
Ms. Gribko is admitted to practice law in New Jersey. She is also admitted in the United States District Courts for the District of New Jersey.
Upon graduating from Rutgers University School of Law in 1994, Rita had the honor of serving as Judicial Clerk to the Honorable Charles J. Harrington, Jr., J.S.C. in the Family Part and the Honorable Frances L. Antonin, J.S.C., in the Criminal Part in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Hudson County.
After completing her Judicial Clerkship, Rita joined the Hudson County Prosecutors Office as an Assistant Prosecutor. She represented the State of New Jersey on behalf of victims of domestic violence whose restraining orders were violated. She also performed trial team work regarding drug offenses and property crimes.
Ms. Gribko served as a Legal Advisor to public entities where she handled legal matters including firearms identification card appeals to the Superior Court of New Jersey, Law Division and to the Appellate Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey.
In 2013, Rita opened her own firm and started The Law Offices of Rita M. Gribko, LLC in Oakhurst, N.J.
